Remembrance Day 2021

Unfortunately I had to work today but we did observe 2 minutes of silence at 11am at work followed by a flawless rendition of ‘The Last Post’ on YouTube performed by a member of Royal Australian Air Force. 

These are a couple pictures of my late Grandpa Leonard LaBerge. He served for 3 years in WWII. He was a gunner on Vancouver Island. Unfortunately he also broke his back during that time. 

He was a great man, a fine solider and I am proud to call him my Grandpa.
