Podcast
update:
So I have
decided to get back to podcasting. From Fall 2012 to February 2018 I have been
podcasting almost weekly. It all started with my own podcast called ‘Random
Nerdness’ which was based on this very blog. Soon thereafter I was asked to
join and co-create the ‘Geek Fallout’ podcast. I eventually took over as the
main producer of GF in the spring of 2013. I soon created the ‘Trek1701’
podcast which was a ‘Star Trek’ centric podcast based on the blog of the same
name which I also created. Then I started ‘Geek Fallout: The Comic Book Episodes’
and ‘Geek Fallout: Technobabble’ all under the banner of ‘Geek Fallout
Productions’. Eventually Random Nerdness ended as I focused on the other
podcasts. Eventually in late 2016 they were all amalgamated into one podcast
called ‘The Geek Fallout Show’. I also created some short lived podcasts such
as ‘Cobble Canucks’, a ‘Coronation Street’ podcast with Mike Downs (The Atomic
Geeks), ‘Hear Me Podcast’, a ‘Game of Thrones’ podcast and Chris’s Soap Box, where
I ranted about stuff.
But
following the death of my cousin and some other personal stuff I decided to
take a break from podcasting. I handed over the reins of ‘Geek Fallout
Productions’ to ‘Geek Fallout’ co-creator Richard Rehder.
But now I am
planning a podcasting comeback for September 2018 with a new podcast called ‘The
Pop Culture Hindsight Bi-Weekly Podcast’ https://popculturehs.podbean.com/
It will be
produced under ‘Chris Lockhart Productions’ in association with ‘The Atomic
Geeks Podcasting Network’.
